Shaftesbury, the real estate investment trust, has launched an interactive giving device, in association with Contactless Giving Week, to support the amazing Young Camden Foundation. The charity has been set up to support the children and young people within the borough of Camden.
The contactless donation point on Monmouth Street will allow visitors to easily donate £3 to this worthwhile cause, which in turn will activate the lights to sparkle at the entrance of Neal’s Yard.
Charities Aid Foundation
Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) is a leading international charity registered in the United Kingdom, with nine offices covering six continents.
We work with partners across industry, government and individual philanthropists to ensure vital funding reaches charities around the world. This enables us to deliver on what we strive to be all about – which is to play our part in providing a fair and sustainable future for all.
Every penny of profit earned by Charitable Radio, everything we do and everything we share with our listeners supports charity fundraising and good causes.
Our purpose and mission is to help you enjoy great radio entertainment, promote your fundraising or celebrate the success of others making a difference for a great cause. We offer great radio, an eclectic choice of music, shout-outs for great causes, and a celebration of generosity and kindness
The Pret Foundation
We’re tackling hunger, poverty and homelessness around the world. We use our global reach to make a difference to the lives of people affected by homelessness, hunger and poverty.
We make sure our surplus food reaches people who need it, offer financial support to charities and help to break the cycle of homelessness by providing training and employment opportunities at Pret.
One in 52 people in our capital are homeless. Homelessness is devastating; its effects are starkly visible on our streets and the numbers worsen year after year. We know that generous Londoners want to help, yet with less cash in our pockets and so many brilliant local charities flying under the radar, it can be difficult to know how.
At TAP, we bring communities together, connecting fantastic local services with generous Londoners who care, all through the power of technology.
The Boat of Hope
The Boat of Hope Campaign is Bernie Hollywood OBE's latest venture to raise vital funds and awareness for children and young people’s mental health issues. The 63-year-old will embark on an awe-inspiring solo row of 3,000 nautical miles across the Atlantic Ocean for charities, Samaritans and Love Rowing.
As the tech partner for the campaign, GoodBox, has adapted one of their award-winning contactless giving devices to help maximise donations as the boat tours the country.
Science Museum Group
As the world’s leading group of science museums, we share our unparalleled collection spanning science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine with over five million visitors each year. We are hugely grateful to our visitors for their ongoing generosity and support. It’s crucial that we give them the opportunity to give in the way that’s right for them, and contactless is a method our visitors are choosing more and more. We’ve been seeing this shift towards contactless steadily over the past few of years, but the pandemic has really cemented this step change. The benefits both to our visitors and us, as an organisation, are huge.
